Sea urchins, also known as sea urchins are a gastronomic delight. Unfortunately, in my country is not often found at the fish, so this dish is made with sea urchin caviar canned pate.
Ingredients for one individual morrudo:
- 1 can of 35 gr. urchin caviar
- 30 grams of onion
- 2 eggs
- Parsley and chives for garnish
- Butter, salt
Preparation time: about 15 minutes.
1.Put in a frying pan melt butter pecan half, very finely chop the onion for 8 minutes over low heat.
2.Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and chopped parsley.
3.When the onions are translucent add to the frying pan the caviar urchins and beaten eggs.
4.Give few laps to the egg curdling to our taste, garnish with chives and serve immediately.
FACTOID ANIMAL LIFE
- Some species of sea urchins can live for over a hundred years.
- The body part that is eaten (the gonads) contains only 0.3 grams of fat per kilo.
- Despite their spines, are devoured with pleasure by some birds, crabs and seals.
